2011 Junior Golf Program

THE FINAL WEEK OF JUNIOR GOLF IS RESCHEDULED TO THURSDAY, AUGUST 11.

CLINICS

For each day the clinic schedule will proceed as follows: (Each clinic will cover both driving/iron play & short game)
1. 9 - 10:30am
2. 4 - 5:30pm
Registration/Payment will take place 15 minutes prior to each clinic. The cost for each clinic is $10.00 per junior. Each junior in the program is encouraged to take part in at least one clinic, but are welcome to attend multiple clinics. Individual lessons are also available - for information contact the golf shop
EQUIPMENT
RECOMMENDED CLUBS:
3 HOLE - 3 wood, 7 iron, 9 iron, putter
6 HOLE - 3 wood, 5 iron, 9 iron, putter
9 HOLE - 1 and 3 wood, 5, 7, 9 iron , pitching wedge, and putter.
18 HOLE - Full set of clubs
Also, all juniors are encouraged to carry their own golf bags.

DRESS CODE

3, 6, & 9 HOLE DIVISIONS: Collared shirts recommended. T-shirts acceptable (No tank-tops or cut-offs). Shoes: Golf or Tennis shoes recommended (soccer/baseball cleats not allowed).

18 HOLE DIVISION:  Must dress in tournament appropiate attire.  This means collared shirts and dress slacks/shorts (skirts for girls). No blue jeans, t-shirts, cut-offs, and all hats must be worn properly. Shoes: Golf shoes recommened, but tennis shoes are allowed (soccer/baseball cleats not allowed).

WALKERS / SCOREKEEPERS
We are asking that all parents volunteer as an adult walker/scorekeeper for at least two rounds. You will be assigned to a 3 or 6 hole group. Golf experience is not necessary as you will mainly be keeping score and making sure the juniors are going to the correct station while staying safe. Walkers will not be assigned to their child’s group.
