2010 Junior Golf Program

Junior golf dates are not set, this is the 2010 schedule and is presented as an example for planning your summer

CLINICS

Monday, June 14

For each day the clinic schedule will proceed as follows:

1. 9 - 10am: full swing

2. 11 - 12pm: short game

3. 4 - 5pm: full swing

4. 6 - 7pm: short game

Registration/Payment will take place 15 minutes prior to each clinic. The cost for each clinic is $10.00 per junior. Each junior in the program is encouraged to take part in at least one clinic, but are welcome to attend multiple clinics. Individual lessons are also available - for information contact the golf shop

EQUIPMENT

RECOMMENDED CLUBS:

3 HOLE - 3 wood, 7 iron, 9 iron, putter

6 HOLE - 3 wood, 5 iron, 9 iron, putter

9 HOLE - 1 and 3 wood, 5, 7, 9 iron , pitching wedge, and putter.

Also, all juniors will be required to carry their own golf bags, no pull carts.

DRESS CODE

Collared shirts recommended. T-shirts acceptable (No tank-tops or cut-offs). Shoes: Golf or Tennis shoes recommended (soccer/baseball cleats not allowed).

WALKERS / SCOREKEEPERS

We are asking that all parents volunteer as an adult walker/scorekeeper for at least two rounds. You will be assigned to a 3 or 6 hole group. Golf experience is not necessary as you will mainly be keeping score and making sure the juniors are using golf etiquette and staying safe. Walkers will not be assigned to their child’s group.
